    LUCY JANETTE MARTINDALE Died, at her home in Christie, Clark County, Mrs. Janette Martindale June 24, 1909, of heart trouble. Mrs. Martindale was an old resident of Clark County, having come from Jefferson Co., N.Y., the home of her birth, between 35 and 40 years ago. She was nearly 68 years old and leaves three sons to mourn her loss, one of who lives in Oregon, one near Belfield, N.D., and the other one is a partner in the Christie store. She was buried in the cemetery Sunday.

Owner and operator of the Colvin Hotel in Woodland for 22 years, resident of Woodland since 1921. Born Aug 20, 186? at Watertown, New York. The remains have been intrusted to the care of the Woodland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, September 27th at the Woiodland Presbyterian Church. Reverend Stanley Tarves will officiate. Vault internment will be in the IIF Cemetery, Woodland, Washington.
