"Thomas, born at Lynn MA, among the Colchester, MA, records we find that "Thomas Gustine and Sarah Holmes were married ye 7 day of June, 1722 at Colchester. He died in 1765. The estate was settled in 1765. Thomas Sr. was one of the founders and a deacon for many years of First Church of Salem, MA. (probably CT)
"A prominent and much respected man in that community, Bartholomew Gustine, a sculptor, was his grandson.

From "Genealogy and History of the Derthicks and Related Derricks", By Spencer and Goodpasture. Gateway Press, Inc. Baltimore, 1986: Moved to Colchester in 1722.

Death location probably Salem CT vice MA,... family page changed to reflect that.

From "The Gustin and Carlisle Genealogy", by Lester C. Gustin, 1954, Modern Press, Newton, MA:
The name is spelled Gurstin in the Colchester CT marriage record....The family removed from Colchester to Salem, MA (probably CT instead), where Thomas was one of the founders and, for many years, a deacon of the First Church of Salem. ... Sarah's death record spells her name Gastin.

From "Chronicles of a CT Farm" compiled by Mary E. Perkins, Boston, 1905:

Thomas Gustin had been in charge of the extensive Fitch farm in Colchester/New Salem area for many years, and upon Col Fitch's death, Thomas purchased portions of the farm in 1758.

Probate records indicate his estate was sold at auction 7 Oct 1794 for 256 pounds. (date seems off, may be the son Thomas Gustin. Estate probated 1792-3. Charles Bulkley, Esq was administrator of estate. Roger Griswold Jr. got fees for legal work.
