Dear Dianne: Just to let you know, our mom passed away on June 20. She went peacefully in her sleep. we had the funeral today, Saturday. A lot of people came to pay their respects. My cousins,(Erma's children) Howard, Patsy and Leone were here for the funeral. We got together on June 11 for her birthday. My sisters Joan and Bonnie and our brother Albert and wife Peggy had dinner with her at the Nursing Home on Sunday before her birthday. She was 93 years old. And though I will miss her terribly, I know she is in a better place. Since she had the stroke almost 4 years ago, she had very little to look forward to. I know she was ready to die.
I will be in touch with you soon.
Love, your cousin, Darlene
