per mother's Obit, Jan 1943, Vera is living in Dickinson, ND.
per father's obit, Jan 1952, she is living in Portland, Oregon.
Per phone conversation with sister, Mable Adams, on 9 Apr 2004, Vera was the child that Musa told about who fell into the pot of boiling lye soap one day when the women were out doing laundry on the prairie in North Dakota. She survived but had scars for the rest of her life.

Kenneth Florien Adams died Sept. 15, 2006, at age 70. Mr. Adams was born Sept. 11, 1936, in Beach, N.D., and moved to Portland in 1946. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and served in the Oregon National Guard. He was a truck driver for Albertsons. In 1999, he married Marlene Storie.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Steve and Shaun; daughter, Holly Peters; brothers, Leroy and Leonard; sisters, Joyce Bollenbaugh and Carol Joan Batsch; and four grandchildren.
