Per Betty Stevens - "He left Wisconsin when he was just a teenager and headed west. He worked his way across country and ended up in Bellingham, WA. He worked in Washington, Oregon and Idaho and eventually settled in the Boise, Idaho area where he met and married Zema Ann Graham in 1895 where they homesteaded. They had ten children: Velma (1897); Alice (1901); Roxie (1902); Mildred (1904); George Wayne (1906) - my husband's father; Ella Pauline (1909); Roy (1911); Lloyd (1913); Catherine (1916) and Marian (1918). Addison worked in construction and was out of town a great deal. Evidently Zema didn't like to stay in one place too long. My father-in-law once said that whenever his father was out of town his mother would find a house for rent and move all the kids and when Addison would come back to town he would have to track them down. In 1930 Addison and Zema separated and remained apart until their deaths, Addison in 1952 and Zema in 1963. "
