I believe this is the same Matilda White that appears on the 1860 census with Mathew White b. 1825.
Per N Henton: Mathilda and Alanson moved to Iowa.
I believe this to be the Eliza, dau. of Matthew, that married James H. Bawden because, per 1880 census she says father born Ireland, mother born Penn. Familysearch.org, IGI Individual record lists a Matthew White, born 1812, Ireland, wife born 1815, Pennsylvannia, children Samuel, b. 1836 PA; Mary b. 1838 Ill: James, b. 1840, Illinois. This record matches that of This Matthew White's 1850 census in Irish Hollow.
The "Jane" in name is per Andrew White estate papers. On a page of "Money paid on claims against said estate" is listed Eliza Jane White - $11.00.

In White, Lizzie - letter to Helen White 31 DEC 1962, Lizzie writes:
"Both girls came to see us at Xmas, Ellen from California and Edith from New Mexico and we had a lovely time. Ellen works in the Air Force and gets big wages. She has never married since Woody was killed. But she has suffered from his death untold. She has come twice by plane from California lately."
per 1930 Census Audie list occupation as Forman of a section Gang (The people adjacent to him in census list section gang, R.R.)
The SS Death Index says Audie's SS was as issued to "long-time or retired railroad workers."
Roxie was also the name of a neighbor girl living next to Addison's family in Spring Grove, WI. That Roxie's older brother Leonard married Addison's sister, Ina Stevens.
Per granddaughter email of 4/23/09 - "Roxie and Audie moved to Oregon from Boise, Idaho. Audie worked on the railroad and Roxie did some teaching."
