He was born Dec. 20, 1899, at Tigard, Ore. He came to the Centralia area from Naches. He was retired after having taught at Centralia College. He taught in the Centralia school district 42 Years. He was registrar for Centralia College at its beginning and was active in community affairs.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Centralia; a member, past president, and lieutenant governor of the Centralia Kiwanis Club and was club secretary, a post he held 37 years; he was also a member of Centralia Lodge No. 63 F. and A.M; the Affifi Shrine, Tacoma; member and past exalted ruler of the Centralia-Chehalis Elks Lodge 2435; the Two Town Tuners; Tag-a-Long Trailer Club; the Council on Aging; and former manager of the Southwest Washington Fair from 1946 to 1956.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Ehret, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Jean Baumhofer, Beaverton, Ore., one son, Dr. William W. Ehret, Centralia; one sister, Mrs. Helen Brooks, Seattle; and three grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Newell-Hoerling's Chapel, Centralia.

assignment.
Mrs. Ehret was the widow of the late
Arthur Ehret.
She was a member of the First United
Methodist Church, Centralia, and
Centralia Chapter No. 14, Order of
Eastern Star.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs.
Mary Jean Baumbofer, Beaverton, Ore.;
one on, Dr. William W. Ehret, Centralia;
three grandchildren; a sister. in-law, Mrs.
